Testimonials
A friend recommended your yoga classes to me while I was going through a difficult time. Yoga makes me feel much happier and calmer and yoga physically and mentally energizes me. I am able to deal more calmly with "crises" at work and home. Yoga has also helped eliminate frequent lower back pain that I experienced in the past. My stress-related shoulder and neck pain are always less after a yoga session. Continuing yoga forever is definitely part of my life plan. Thanks! Cynthia Y.
Five decades of poor posture can leave you with a lot of aches and pains. I know because I am dealing with this problem myself. I have suffered from low back pain for many years, making it very uncomfortable for me to enjoy working in my garden. With the practice of yoga, I am once again enjoying working in my garden. I find that consistent practice of yoga has helped me to remain flexible as well as regain flexibility that I lost many years ago. It has helped me improve my posture so much, that I now show my height on my drivers license as 5 foot 9 and not 5 foot 8. Margie C.
Hi Parri, I meant to tell you last time I was in, since I've blended yoga with my study and meditation regimen, I lowered my cholesterol from 273 to 198 in six months. My doctor was stunned! You do a lovely job of describing the different aspects and benefits of yoga and meditation. I wish much continued success to you, you've changed my life. Namaste, Stephanie C.
I did want you to know how much your teaching, in particular, has meant to me. Like many, I feel that yoga has transformed me in various ways, and I cannot imagine my life without it. I don't want to bore you with the details; my particulars are not uncommon: too much stress, too little flexibility, not enough focus on the present. I knew nothing about yoga; I knew no one who practiced it; I knew nothing about how to choose where to go. And I am convinced that the reason yoga has been so positive in my life was that I chose your class first. You welcomed me and made me feel at home in your studio, and for that I am grateful. I have since been fortunate enough to meet many gifted teachers, but I have a special place in my heart for you. I wish you always the best. Nancy K. |
